Since 2004 Excel has been a non-competitive Performing Arts studio located in the Kalamazoo/Portage, Michigan area (Texas Corners). 

Newly Remodeled!
Excel offers a renovated 7,000 square foot facility with four large studios equipped with state of the art sprung wood floors and convenient viewing windows. Students will love taking a break, grabbing a snack, or just hanging out in our new lounge area. 

Dance Wear and More!
We also are proud to house Dance Digs, a Kalamazoo dance wear boutique, where your student can find everything they need for the dance season!

With experienced, youthful instructors, Excel prides itself in not only helping your dancer grow in technique, but also as a self-confident, compassionate and responsible student in a fun and safe environment. Our teachers continue their commitment to the studio and our dancers by attending regional and national dance conventions to bring fresh and exciting material to all of our students - ages 2 through adult.

Excel offers a wide variety of classes including; Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Gym, Musical Theatre, Performance Teams and Zumba. All classes, music, costuming etc., are age-appropriate and focus on student growth and development of skill in a bright, fun and family-friendly environment.

Guitar and Keyboard Lessons
Local instructor, Willis Bouwman, owner of The Science of Six String
will be teaching guitar and keyboard for all ages at Excel. Contact Willis at 269-492-5099 or by email, to learn more or sign up for lessons.
